The worldwide outbreak of the new Novel Corona virus is gaining momentum, and this may also affect the introduction of technology companies’ devices.
But Apple seems to be introducing the cheap iPhone SE2 or iPhone 9 (whatever the company names it) on the 15th of this month.
Our correspondent reports that although the cheapest iPhone will be offered on April 15, one iPhone or all devices in the iPhone 12 series may be postponed until September.
Apple’s cheapest iPhone was first expected to launch on March 31, but could be introduced on April 3 and now, possibly on April 15.
This new iPhone will be the successor to the 2016 iPhone SE, but it will be powered by the powerful iPhone 11.
Design and Features
The design of this phone will be similar to that of the iPhone 8 which will be given a 4.7-inch LCD display with a Touch ID button but no Face ID feature.
This phone will be given the A13 Bionic processor, which is also available in the iPhone 11 series phones.
In addition, 3GB RAM and 64 to 128 GB storage will be provided.
The phone will have a camera on the front and back.
Price
The highlight of this phone will be the price which is much cheaper than most iPhones.
The phone will start at $ 399 (over 66,000 Pakistani rupees) and will be about 50% cheaper than the iPhone 11.
Interestingly, the price of the iPhone SE was the same when it was introduced in 2016, but the price is not being raised by the company despite a gap of 4 years.
Earlier, a report had said that the Plus version would be introduced with this new phone which could be given a 5.5-inch display.
Given the popularity of the iPhone 11 and iPhone XR, the company expects cheap iPhones to be able to catch people’s attention.
