Google released this data on Friday in the name of Code 19 Community Mobility Reports .
For this report, Google used data from people who have opted to store their location history in Google, to help them understand how far people have followed the social distance government guidelines.

For this, data from 131 countries, including Pakistan, was released and the company said that “while the global community is responding to the Cod 19 pandemic, there are calls for public medical strategies such as social distance measures such as viruses.” In order to slow down the spread of the data, we collected data to tell how many people are now in certain locations, when the local business has more leeway.
Google’s public transit locations in each country are divided into 6 categories.
Retail and Recreation includes restaurants, cafes, shopping centers, theme parks, museums, libraries and cinema houses.
The grocery and pharmacy included bargaining markets, food warehouses, farmers’ markets, food shops, medical stores.
Parks include coastal locations, plazas and other public places.
The category of transit stations included public transport centers.
The workspace was a category containing offices, while Residence was the department covering people’s homes.
According to Google data, the following changes in these categories took place in Pakistan from February 16 to March 29.
The rate of people visiting retail, restaurants and other restaurants decreased by 70%.
The drop-out rate for grocery categories, such as grocery shopping, was reduced by 55 percent, while parks, recreation, recorded a 45 percent drop.
The rate of visits to public transport centers declined by 62%, while the number of people visiting offices decreased by 41%.

These are changes from February 16 to March 29, but data suggest that the decline or increase was primarily seen between March 10 and 29, especially after the nationwide lockdown.

Google says it plans to update the data in the near future, but it has not yet been decided for its implementation period.
