Information about bank accounts, credit cards, bio-metric data, mental health and medical records will be preserved.
Personal information of a person may not be used for commercial purposes. In this regard, the Personal Data Protection Authority of Pakistan, comprising seven persons, will be formed.
The authority will include the Ministry of IT, Defense and Interior and IT specialists. The authority will create a licensing framework for the data controller and data processor.
