Samsung Galaxy S10 to Abandon the Iris Scanner Instead Face ID 3D Face Recognition

Many Samsung users are waiting on desperately for the new phone Samsung Galaxy S10, but the Samsung is preparing to give a surprise to them which they may not like.

“The S10 cancels the iris sensor,” stated by famous Ice Universe on a Twitter account. Why? Because Samsung believes “the ultrasonic fingerprint [sensor] is enough to replace it.”

Ditching the iris sensor would also allow Samsung to further increase the size of the S10 Display without increasing the overall size of the phone, Galaxy S10 would have an even bigger display with smaller bezels.

The fingerprint scanner or fingerprint will come in a different way. This feature will occupy more space (30 percent of screen size) and will be quicker to recognize the fingerprint.

The ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, made by Qualcomm, and is supposed to be even faster and more secure than current alternatives used in other phones. Samsung’s facial recognition system, meanwhile, has never been as secure as Apple’s Face ID, or as secure as fingerprint scanning, for that matter.
